I loved the food there . I like how the place has New Orleans food. I love how they have party rooms. I love how they have Bananas Fosters I like how they cook it on a flaming by your table.I love the band that they have that comes on Sunday for brunch they are very amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone.I like there staff they are very friendly. They have good biscuits and cornbread that are very good.
Service was impeccable. It was our anniversary and they made us feel welcomed and they also gave us a plate with cookies (I forgot the name of it) and fruit with the words. Happy anniversary. Overall a nice experience. The food was a bit overpriced for the Quality in my opinion. Salad tasted pretty fresh. Dessert was made in front of us sweet, but good. Clam chowder was good as well. The oysters were pretty yummy, but anything that is not from the gulf will taste better. The restaurant look is nice and have comfortable seats :)
So we went here for their HRW. Overall I thought it was okay. Maybe my expectations were too high or maybe their full menu is better then their HRW menu? Not sure. I did like the atmosphere, it reminded me of a speakeasy but with a lot more poise. It was quiet and the round tables really allowed me to converse with everyone in my group opposed to a different seating arrangement. For the first course I got the famous turtle soup. At first I was freaked out because I've never had turtle. But it was very small apiece chopped up into the soup and tasted lika like sausage. It was good but I wouldnt say it was out of this world. For the second meal I got the porkloin which was decently cooked. However there were like 4 small piece of meat on my plate, so I wished the serving size had more. The pork was tender and seasoned well though. For the dessert I got the famous bananas fosters which was absolutely my favorite part of the night. It was so good and the ice cream complemented the cinnamon banana so well!!!
