In case the rain took you by surprise during the promenade around Abingdon County Hall Museum, stop by this bar. The Brewery Tap specializes in British cuisine. Enjoy good chicken pies, salmon and bacon at this place when you happen to be near it. Most guests recommend trying tasty sticky toffee pudding, brownies and ice cream. Order the delicious craft beer, cask ale or cider served here. This spot has great coffee among its drinks.

Very comfortable stay at the Brewery Tap, after a long drive from Norwich it was great to be warmly received and shown to a comfortable room. Sadly I didn’t get photos of my colleagues room as it was, just like mine quite interesting in regards to its architecture. After a few moments to trying to figure out why it was quickly apparent the photos on the walls signalled the history of that room as different sections of a brewery. 5 stars for comfort and 5 stars for nerdy decoration ! Good, clean, comfortable. It’s a self catering continental breakfast which was great but the coffee machine didn’t work for me, somebody came by and got it running but then it didn’t work again half way through making my coffee but everything else on offer made up for that. Even with the coffee saga, I'd definitely book here again when I'm back in Abington hopefully earlier next time so we can enjoy some of the great looking food ! Rooms: 5 Service: 4 Location: 5
