Delicious choice of real ales. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Sit outside and be surrounded by the Eskdale fells.

In previous week we have eaten all over the Lake District but the meal here today was by far the best. Excellent, friendly and knowledgeable service and superb food. We had the scallops and Thai fishcakes with coconut sauce for starters, followed by Chicken Supreme and Chicken Madras. All beautifully presented. Whisky selection and tasting notes were amazing. This place is a rare find. Great staff and beautiful location. We shall be back.
