why go to open market for the bahn mi when u can go here, its literally so fire and 10x better than expensive open market. plus, open market shreds ur gums, i ate this bahn mi so fast i couldnt get a pic #thanks (also took like 10 min for my sammy, where at open market... it took 30+)

This is one of my regular spots for lunch. I like the Banh mi, the KTown and the California. Very fresh and tasty combinations.

I hadn't had a Brothers sandwich for a while. I remember really digging their chicken salad sandwiches for takeout. I ordered a small chicken salad with red onion and avocado which cost $11.50 (also tipped $2 in the GrubHub app). The bag felt a little light on the way home, but I thought to myself I did order a small. Unwrapped it to find nowhere near the chicken salad I used to get and not evenly distributed like those lovely sandwiches I had from them in the past. Barely any red onion and an okay amount of avocado. My first bite and I bit into a small bone fragment. I get it, it's chicken salad and it can happen, but this was a first for me from Brothers. I picked it out and took another bite and bit another small bone fragment (luckily the last I detected). At this point I had to gingerly and unenthusiastically eat the rest of the sandwich sorely missing the $11.50 I paid for it. I feel bad that my first review for them has some negatives in it, but I wrote this in hope that if this wasn't a fluke that they could return to the awesomeness they were before. Maybe this was a one off and I will order from them again, but this isn't the first time I've taken a break from a restaurant I really enjoyed only to come back later and find the quality took a step down. I hope this isn't the case for Brothers.
