After looking at The Polar Bear Society, have a meal at Brygga Mathus AS. It's great to try Norwegian cuisine. Perfectly cooked fish soup, borsch and fish have a pleasant taste. Visit this place and order good wine.

Had dinner here last night. We got there at 8pm and were told they only had the inner filet of beef left in the kitchen, so we had to order that. I ordered medium rare for the meat and it came out mostly as wanted. My father wanted it well done but his came out underdone. There was a lack of sides in relation to the meet, but on a positive note the amount of meet was quite generous. Could have asked for more sides without issue, but it should have come with a more balanced side to meat ratio in my opinion. There could also have been proper steak knives, but the ones we had did the job alright. I ordered the Moscow mule but that did not come out as wanted at all. First of all it came in a regular ceramic cup and not a copper one as it should. Secondly the amount of vodka to ginger ale was much too uneven. The vodka flavor was much stronger than it is supposed to be. Thirdly, they used a lemon slice and juice instead of lime, which i do not quite approve of. The water came fairly room tempered which was not good at all. Asked for something to cool it down with and got an ice bucket, which was good, but this should have been provided or taken care of from the get go. The dessert was a cheesecake of sorts. The cheese part was good and unique, but the cake felt quite dry and there was basically nothing on the side to offset this so i had to drink a good bit of water during my consumption of it. Staff were kind and helpful and attentive. Even got a small discount at checkout, probably because I gave a lot of feedback similar to the things mentioned in this review. The atmosphere and look of the place was great though. I would be happy to visit again, but i hope they take care of the minor flaws here and there.
