For years, C-Lovers was my go-to for fish & chips, and my Dad loved their seafood chowder. We're from the BC North Coast, where seafood's a way of life, and we both prefer halibut to "cod-of-the-day" (ie true cod, tilapia, random whitefish, etc.), so we're willing to pay a premium, even if it's pretty darn "premium". The last time we went unfortunately, the halibut was sliced so thin that I found myself searching through the batter for it. Halibut can be very expensive I know, but this was beyond the pale. I've since switched to White Spot, reluctantly at first, but it's an excellent choice there, especially for a chain restaurant. I always order an extra piece, and it runs about $30.00 with fries and coleslaw. If cod is your preference, they offer that as well.

Note: this happened a few years ago now, and it's not anything related to Covid-19. I'd be a lot more sympathetic in that case.

Been several times to C-Lovers Fish & Chips since we moved to Langley, and every time, our meals have been great.The fish is really tasty and not oily and the chips (fries) are always fresh too.The service has generally been very quick as they have a lot of kitchen staff and are very efficient. Definitely going to be one of our frequented restaurants in Langley City.
