If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. The owner not only has no respect for his customers, and treats the servers like slaves. The whole time I was eating he was following the servers around yelling at them. How is this place still open? Do NOT eat here. It is a complete waste of you're time AND you're money.

According to the Larimer County Health Board- this establishment received a 'Marginal' classification. google.com/amp/s/amp.col… Published May 21, 2018. The County describes 'Marginal' as: apps.larimer.org/food/as… 'At the time of inspection the establishment could have four serious critical violations associated with cooling, reheating, cooking, refrigeration and hot holding equipment, cross contamination between raw animal foods and ready to eat foods, employee hygiene and other items with risk index values of 20 or could have one or more secondary critical violations with risk index values of 5-15, as well as some non-critical violations. The risk index range is 70-99.' For what it cost to eat at East Moon- why such a grade?

We ate at the East Moon Asian Bistro earlier today with a larger group, and it was not good. Easily one of the worst food experiences we have ever had in Fort Collins. We did not have habachi, so I can't comment on the quality of that experience. We went to the bistro expecting to accommodate disparate tastes of our group members. Several of us had Phad Thai. It was not good at all. The sauce was soupy and bland. In fact, it was a soup more than a sauce. It had to be eaten with a spoon. The noodles did not look like they spent any time on the wok/pen. The whole plate looked like it was a take on a chicken noodle soup. Orange chicken was simply not acceptable. The amount of sugar in the dish was just ridiculous. It was hard to taste anything else. The breading was soggy and excessive. Orange chicken in Panda Express is far superior to the dish that we were served today in every respect. Panang curry. The liquid was suspiciously similar to the Phad Thai's "soup." It was sweet and tasted bland. Another problem was that we could not get it spicy! The chef suggested Sriracha... The tea and the steamed dumplings came out warm, not hot. We also skipped alcohol, so I cannot comment on the quality of drinks. Based on the menu the wine and beer seemed to be reasonably priced and their selection was reasonable. Having said all of that, and to be fair. The only reason I did not give one star is because sushi was not bad. We had a selection of sashimi and plain tuna rolls. Everything from the sushi bar was good. No complaints. The selection of sushi was somewhat lacking to make it a destination for a sushi dinner. The service was very good, friendly and responsive, no complaints.
