We went there for brunch around 11 AM on a Sunday. It was a bit packed, but we only had to wait about five minutes to be seated, which wasn’t too bad considering the crowd. The service was overall good and the staff were friendly, but you could tell they were a bit understaffed. We waited around 15 minutes for the food to come out, which was reasonable, but when it came time to check out, it took quite a while before a server was available to help us. I think having a few more staff members would definitely improve the overall flow of service, especially during peak hours like weekend brunch. That said, the food options were great and there was a nice variety to choose from. I especially liked the matcha crème brûlée—it stood out the most and had a really nice balance of flavors. The other dishes we tried were also decent and met expectations. While the food itself is fairly standard, the presentation was well done and the overall atmosphere of the place made the experience feel more elevated. The ambiance, combined with the friendly service, helped make the meal more enjoyable. Overall, it was a good brunch experience, and I would consider coming back again. A great choice to have breakfast around the area. If you are staying at Sofitel, I do recommend going to this restaurant at least once. The server was kind and friendly. The food is delicious and well served. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The Sofitel hotel’s restaurant Café des Architectes has been replaced by a new restaurant, CDA. There is no comparison, the food was terrible. My roasted potatoes were greasy and tasted like they were cooked with old oil. My caprese omelet was flavorless. At least the décor is the same and the service was excellent. If you do go there, just order coffee and enjoy the surroundings. There are many other breakfast options within a few blocks.
