I absolutely am a complete fan of this restaurant but come fast because they may be closing in January. This restaurant is located inside the Socorro Entertainment center on the Tigua aka Ysleta del Sur Pueblo tribe reservation. What I really like about this spot is their Tiwa Burger! It is absolutely amazing! It consists of buffalo meat, handmade fresh Tigua bread that is sliced and fried and all the available toppings you want starting at $9!!!! And this bad boy is big enough for two! Every time I've gone I crave it, get it, split it, and enjoy for the entire day! The actual ambiance of the restaurant reminds you of....well of a casino type restaurant, being that it is located inside of the gambling area. But don't be fooled by the look because the food is absolutely amazing. Even the salad bar is amazingly stocked with a variety of salads, pastas, soups, and desserts. Everything being flavorful and fresh. Being that the restaurant is located within the gambling center, the food is amazingly priced and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Plus, you add on top of it all, visiting the Tigua tribe! It's amazing how this is located in our community and it's a great learning experience to explore another culture without even leaving the city...well technically you do leave the city and enter the Tigua Nation! Come enjoy because it may be closing soon...hopefully Speaking Rock will continue the Tiwa Burger!

Cacique Steakhouse inside of the Socorro Entertainment Center is an awesome dinning place. They have really good food, they are very attentive, and the prices are VERY reasonable. We've dined there twice before attending concerts and both times we have dined there have been superb! Alejandra is an awesome waitress and always takes care of our requests, she's prompt, efficient, and very polite! We were recognized as having previously dined here upon our second visit. The Steak Tampico is what we ordered both times and it was cooked to perfection, flavorful, and filling. I highly recommend dinning here even if you're not going to an event!
