I per usual visited Vafe Alba lunchtime 4/3/23
Firstly friendly member of staff took my order of late and roll and bacon
Brought out promptly
Thoroughly enjoy and my visit sested outside.
However, whilst a member of staff taking a ge tlemans order who were seated next to me, and others group of across from me.
I politely asked if I could pay jist now via card machine that staff member had in her hand.
It wasnt a problem.
I paid contactless.
This my choice to pay there snd then as carrying bags of shopping.
However, I got up to leave and whilst enweing precinct.. A mber of staff came out shouting Have you paid
That was unprofessional and no way how you should speak to someone.
You do not say things in that kind of manner...
When a customer has been attended to by another member of staff and has paid.
It was abrupt manner.
Now I found that extremely embarrassing..As it were in front of other customers.
Where I advised I've just paid contactless on card machine hence another member of staff
Social skills and training how to speak to customers
Communication skills poor staff to each other.
That would of avoided this in first instance..
That order were paid for and who received that payment
That has put me off returning.
Will not be back.
