This restaurant is completely phenomenal. If you're looking for an insta/Snapchat worthy, aesthetic place to eat you have found it here. While many places sacrifice taste to please presentation, this restaurant combines the two perfectly. The Landwer Pancakes were spectacular, the Acai Bowl great, kids sliders were delicious, the schnitzel enough to please even the most picky of food connoisseurs, and the Halummi Shuckshuk tasty as well. Another excellent perk is delicious fresh baked breads!
From the service to the food, this place was perfect! They had great healthy options and their customizable juices and smoothies were delicious. Our server, Daniella, was awesome and super accommodating. It's a really great switch up from basic breakfast foods with awesome Mediterranean options and some classic options if that's what you're feeling as well. There were tons of coffee and drink options and the atmosphere was excellent on top of it all, highly recommend!
I have mixed feelings about Cafe Landwer, but I ultimately felt the positives outweighed the negatives. I'll let you make your own decision. I should mention that I haven't had full table service. I've only been in for coffee and pastries, so I've been primarily for studying. Pros: wonderful ambience; lots of windows where natural light peeps in; comfortable chairs and plenty of seating space; really lovely staff who go above and beyond for you; not too crowded/loud; an amazing music playlist Cons: a bit pricey; internet is spotty; not full coffee menu, so you're limited to the 10-15 drinks on the menu (but I imagine that's bc they're more of a restaurant than what we imagine as "cafe") Meh: I've had both bad drinks (eg chai latte) and good drinks (mocha), so I don't know what to make of quality. I will say that the pastries are delicious! Overall, I'll definitely return as a place to study because the environment is great (even though the internet has some problems). I'll update once I return for a full meal!
