After seeing Ali'iolani Hale, it may be a nice idea to visit this restaurant. Nothing can be better than ordering nicely cooked grilled bacon, Caesar salads and pork tacos. You will find good friands on the menu. Some clients like delicious chai latte, ice tea or thai tea at Cafe Ono.

This place is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. You will pay affordable prices for your meal. If you've never tried to eat and feel the sense of beauty simultaneously, visit this spot to find the charming atmosphere. The overall score is 4.5 on Trip.

I'm disappointed that I have to update my 5-star Café Ono review and drop it to 2 stars. If you read my previous review, you'll know that people used to love it for the good food and great customer service. In June 2018, ownership changed and to be fair-I stayed away from Café Ono for a while because I knew there would be some changes with the transition and they would need time to work out some kinks. It's been over 3 months and the verdict is in and it isn't good. They have been tried to gain business by sending out emails. Emails contain specials and/or a discount off your meal. I took advantage of it once and got a buffalo chicken, green bean and yam hash pre-packed meal. It was in a meal-prep type plastic container that was premade. It was ok. I enjoyed the yam hash but the chicken was a little dry, even with the buffalo sauce. Most recently, I ordered fried rice and an iced Thai coffee. I was pleasantly surprised that the fried rice is two times the size as the previous portion BUT the rice itself was mushy and everything was bland. I could barely eat any of it. My coffee was also disappointing because it was burnt. I'm usually not one to send food back and will try to eat it even if it's subpar because I hate wasting food. However, I really couldn't bring myself to eat that mushy fried rice and drink the burnt coffee so I went back to ask for a refund. She was apologetic and gave me a refund without hesitation. I have doubts that this new Café Ono will make it. They had a rough start and seem to still be working out some kinks. The customer service, though not horrible, isn't as personalized and the wait time for food has increased a lot. It seems their clientele has declined as I haven't seen a line there in a very long time. Tables aren't filled like they used to be and it's unfortunate that the restaurant name never got changed before the decline in quality.

Well let's start with the price. Good deal for breakfast $7.55 for a full breakfast which includes 2 eggs lots of rice and 4 slices of spam. It lost a star cause my rice which is more than enough was a little dry for my filipino standards. The location is hidden between some trees which makes it nice to sit outside and eat. Which there is only outside seating. I also order a ice coffee which I normally don't drink coffee. It was strong which to coffee drinkers is a good thing I guess.
