Living up to its name as having the best francesinha in Porto. So delicious and the bacalao was good too. The flavors were there and the sauces were so good. The port wine was definitely so good. It has a chill atmosphere and friendly staff.
It was my first time trying the Francesinha and it was delicious. All the flavors were well balanced and having the French fries to dip in the sauce was amazing. The service was great and fast. Would definitely eat this again.
Stop what you're doing and goooooo!!! Cafe Santiago is the best place to get the original FRANSCENCINHA! The famous sandwhich: Franscencinha is ham, roast beef, sausage, and a runny egg inside. On the outside, there is a layer of melted cheese. Then, the whole sandwiched is smothered in a hot, thick tomato/beer sauce surrounded by French fries. We got lucky and found a spot at the bar didn't have to wait to be seated once you order it's about 30 minutes to make. This is literally all they make and you're in for a treat it's delicious. I wasn't so sure at first but I am A true fan of it! Must try.
