We did the five course tasting menu with wine pairing; overall, the service overshadowed the food.  The most memorable dish was their bread and olive oil!  Apparently it is from their own olive oil farm in Italy, you can taste the dedication...
A first time visit to an inconspicuous dining spot. While the waitstaff are excellent, Cafe Spiaggia's restaurant week offering did not quite meet the expectations of its name. The arrincini were good, the pasta excellent but served barely warm. The braised pork shoulder was dry and more akin to ham. The affogato, a tasty hazelnut gelato (one hollow scoop), was literally drowned, overwhelmed by too much espresso.
Great food, great service, awesome wine and dessert. So happy :) I wanted to try Spiaggia since it is restaurant week and I know this restaurant has a Michelin star. The menu did not disappoint. For $48 I had truffle arancini, ziti, rock fish, and toasted milk and espresso affogato. I had a glass of red wine and was ready for bed. The meal had all the right ingredients and palettes played with, it was rich, and the attentive service made my experience that much better. It is on the pricier side outside of restaurant week, but it is worth every penny.
