Musee des Beaux-Arts is a great attraction for tourists who come to eat at this restaurant after long walks. The wonderful flavours of the French cuisine attract numerous guests. Unbelievably delicious and incredible value! A must while in Lyon
Amazing food. This restaurant deserves it's high rating
Had pretty high expectations coming here after having it recommended multiple times as one of the best bouchons in Lyon, but ended up having my worst dining experience in 2 months in France.

The thing that ruined it the most was the service, which was literally the worst I've ever received at a sit-down restaurant. The waitress was actually quite friendly and bubbly initially, but from then on we were completely ignored and neglected, to the point where we couldn't even manage to get a water refill. By dessert time we just wanted to pay and leave ASAP after becoming frustrated with being forgotten, but struggled to even get someone's attention to do that.

The food was okay, but honestly quite average and bland - you can get as good or better Lyonnais fare at other, less renowned bouchons. As some other reviewers have also noticed, the bread was stale and my dessert (tarte à la praline) seemed a bit old and stiff too.

I don't normally write bitter negative reviews of restaurants (in fact this is my first ever), but I was just so disappointed and thoroughly frustrated with my experience at this supposedly amazing restaurant that I had to write something.
