I have always been on the hunt for the perfect Old Fashioned drink. I would have to say that Angela, the bar tender, surpassed all of my previous favorites. Amazing!!! The food was really good too. But I'm coming back for the drinks!

I'll start by saying that this should really be 2.5 stars - not meh, but not quite A-OK either. We had a disappointing experience at Caffe Torino last evening, discovering that it did not live up to past experiences there. The focaccia was extemely salty, overwhelming the olive oil we dipped it in. One person in our party ordered the veal marsala. It was cut so thin that it was dry and overcooked. The marinated lamb chops, on the other hand, were outstanding, probably some of the best I've had, but the accompanying risotto was gluey, and the mushrooms in it a bit rubbery. The other two entrees at our table were deemed as either okay or very good. The chocolate pecan pie we ordered for dessert was not very chocolatey, and was very dry and crumbly; the pecans were not crisp. For some reason, not long after we arrived, they started playing a very odd choice of music - 80s and 90s pop. It was loud and intrusive and took away from the enjoyment of our meal. At our request, they initially lowered it, but then turned it up again after a short while. There was also a notable change in the quality of service; the busier they got, the worse the service became. By the end of the meal they were no longer refilling water, and our server was nowhere to be seen until it came time to bring us the check. Although, I might try Caffe Torino again in the future, it would not be at or near the top of my list. I find there are other Italian restaurants that are much better than this most recent experience there.
