I personally don’t eat west African food but my husband seems to enjoy the food. Customer service and friendliness lacks quite a bit

Terrible customer service, horrible attitude. Would never spend money to patronize a place with poor attitude and terrible customer service. Picked up an order for a delivery service and without even checking to see if the order was ready, the person at the front helped others that came in after me before even checking to see if my order was ready. I had to wait for someone from the back to check to see if the order was ready. Then she said she was waiting for the customer to confirm a substitute because they were out of goat meat. I called the customer and he answered right away. I let the person talk to the customer on my phone on speaker, but I didn’t let her hold my phone. Maybe she didn’t like that I didn’t let her hold my phone because she said the food would be ready in 10 minutes, which actually took 20 minutes. Then I received a message that the order was ready and saw my order sitting there. I asked the first rude person if the order was ready and she lied and said she had to check with the back. All she did was go to the back then put a napkin or something in the bag and handed it to me. Regardless of how they felt about me, there was paying customer at the end of this transaction. I would never dine here. Customer service is too horrible and this is not my first terrible experience, but will definitely be my last because I will never return. POOR ATTITUDE and SUPER SLOW!!!! First time experience at Calabar Pot in Frisco. The Iyan was soft and a good size but the meat was too saltly and Egusi soup was sour within half an hour therefore I had to toss out, overpriced food. I will not patronize them again. Also, Cashier can brush up on their customer service skills.

I apologize you feel this way. Most customers prefer the Iyan soft. As far as the meat, most of our customers are satisfied with the taste. Most Nigerian soups will become sour depending on how long you keep them enclosed. The rule of thumb is to consume it immediately or keep it refrigerated immediately. Thanks for your feedback.
