So are they closed or not? Anyway, the food here is awesome. This is a Chicago landmark and a must stop if you find yourself on the east side.

Feel the need to boost your rating during this time of rebuilding. New to Chicago last year we found you and loved the garlic salmon and the shrimp... absolutely the best! A stop here for great smoked seafood should be on the list of any visitor to the Chicago area! Now a permanent resident we plan to be back once you reopen! We cannot wait for that day! Thanks again. It's a small and simple shack with no seating, but don't let that deter you; it's a seafood extravaganza inside. The smoked fish is the main attraction here. You can choose from a variety of fish, such as salmon, trout, shrimp, sturgeon, and more. They are all smoked to perfection using natural wood and brine, not artificial flavorings or chemicals.
