I want to give a huge shout out and THANK YOU Candy's Old Fashion for opening their doors and feeding people during this snowpocalypse. I work at a hotel in the same area and was stressed about finding food for my staff. Not only was the food delicious, the service was wonderful.

OMG! I thought I would try a different place for lunch. I am so glad I chose Candy's. The burger is huge and so delicious! I am definitely ordering from this place again! I might need to stop by and dine in. You will not be sorry. Whataburger, who?! ❤

The restaurant's atmosphere: They have very limited seating with the tables spaced apart from each other which during these times should be a good thing but....since it's a small place I still managed without trying to, to hear the entire conversation of the table closest to me which happened to be a group of 4 men in the law enforcement field which I would've preferred NOT to hear (and I'll just leave it at that) I only mention this because it may not be the best place to go on a lunch date or if you'd like a bit of privacy. The food: itself was just okay nothing to rave about. I have been to plenty of burger places before always searching for a place that was better than the last and it's a hard pass for me with this place. The patties are frozen & not homemade. I don't know about anyone else but as for myself I don't prefer anything frozen over fresh. The fries were decent with just the right amount of seasoned salt but the side of jalapeños I ordered were not good and had a mushy texture to them. My soda was also flat and wasn't a good beverage to wash my meal down with. In all fairness though burgers are not the only thing on the menu so maybe they do have something else that tastes out of this world. Sadly it wasn't the burgers in my opinion. They had friendly employees which is always nice.
