Canottieri Mincio is more than a sports club - it’s what happens when nature, elegance, tennis courts, and Olympic-grade pools decide to share the same address. With ten tennis courts, sprawling sports fields, and a divine blend of wild greenery and organized calm, this place feels like a Wes Anderson film set — only with better swimwear. I was there for the "Trofeo delle Alpi" diving competition, and let me tell you — no, they may not have 7.5 or 10 meter platforms, but with a 1 and 3 meter springboard and a beautifully poised 5 meter tower, you quickly stop caring about the missing meters. Instead, you start asking yourself: Should I move in? Because this diving pool isn’t just functional - it’s set like a diamond in a crown. The sunlight sparkles, the trees rustle politely, and the water practically invites you to swan dive into joy. What really makes this diving zone a gold-medal experience is the staff: competent, kind, suspiciously beautiful, and genuinely welcoming. You get Olympic-level support with spa-like charm. And somehow, they manage to keep everything spotless without sacrificing the cozy wilderness vibe. The whole campus is full of thoughtful touches - chairs where you need them, shade when you want it, showers that don’t scream, and a general atmosphere that says, "we take this seriously, but we also smile". Of course, it’s a members-only club (with guests welcome), and judging by the order and serenity of the place, I’d bet membership isn’t cheap. But honestly? It feels like it gives back far more than it asks - in quality, peace of mind, and pure joy. A stunning, well-kept oasis that visitors like me will envy long after the medal ceremony ends. And maybe even consider relocating for.
