Charging more than menu price for items. Frudulent. Was at Cantina D'Italia in Herndon about 3 weeks ago for a pickup order for 3 items. Order placed based on online menu. When picking up the takeout, I noticed the total was higher than expected. I asked the owner/mgr about this and he said their prices were going up and that the menus still needed to be updated. I didn't think this was kosher but I went ahead and paid the additional $9 (each item had cost $3 more). Later I submitted a msg through their website asking how could this be allowed because I looked into this and found that businesses have to honor the published price. I never received any acknowledgment to my email and now 3 weeks later I just checked their online menu and they STILL haven't updated their menu prices! I don't know who else as a customer has been scammed by this restaurant but BEWARE this is not an ethical business. Too many other good Italian restaurants so avoid this one!
