I am a law enforcement officer and went to lunch with my friend at Carbone's. The food was very good but my experience was heartbreaking.Two Spanish men walked into the bar area and the bartender who was a tall whIte male wearing glasses with a gold tee says to the males..."We don't allow Puerto Rican's in here"! At this point I almost choked on my food because I couldn't believe what I just heard, and the woman I was with was Puerto Rican and a high dignitary with the State of Connecticut. I was about to ask for my check to leave but the woman I was with wanted to enjoy our time together. This same tall white male was so unprofessional that he changed his clothes in the wine area, then put his dirty scuffed shoes on in the bar area while I was eating, this guy was disgusting. I seriously now wanted to puke!!! This guy should of changed in a bathroom or out of sight of the customers. Our bartender who was a short male was ok but didn't even check on us to see how our food was. I was very displeased with Carbone's and told my other friends and colleagues about thIs place and I will not be going back. This place is terrible and needs some ethical training. Very displeased and don't recommend this place to anyone.
