Charlie's is pretty near Barnstaple Heritage Centre. British cuisine is a must-order one at this cafe. In accordance with the reviewers' opinions, pies are tasty. You will be offered such food as good biscuits and nicely cooked doughnuts, don't hesitate to try them. Coffee is great at Charlie's.

We visited this place whilst on holiday. We were very impressed with the amount of vegan cakes and foods on offer. All the cakes on the counter are vegan friendly. It was very difficult to choose as they all looked delicious. We had coffee and cake and my little one tried the scrambled tofu. It was all very tasty. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Charlie's has to be one of my favourite cafés in North Devon, the team are so friendly and welcoming, and I can not overstate how amazing the food and treats are, the BEST doughnuts I have ever had, and it's all gluten free, amazing! Even the little things just make the biggest difference, like the homemade shortbreads that come with the hot drinks, couldn't recommend Charlie's enough! I love this place so much!!! We live in Canada and we’re visiting Pete’s family in Barnstaple when we found this gem. Mike and the Girls (all of you) were so warm & friendly we went there everyday. When I walked in, I would say “I’m home!” They would laugh and serve us best coffee and tiny so delicious biscuits. I would then have the scrambled eggs. So soft & custardy I became addicted. Sometimes I had the full breakfast other times the eggs and side beans (yummm) cause the meal is so large I couldn’t finish it. Prices so amazing for such great quality food. Miss all of you and your meals so much. Go try the cupcakes!!!
