I grew up in nearby Rivervale. Discovered Casa Del Sole around 1977 while in high school. Quickly became my “go-to” for lunch when I worked at the Great American Party Store in Hillsdale :) Although I moved away from NJ in the mid-1980’s, Casa Del Sole has steadfastly remained, in my heart, THE best Italian deli anywhere. I’ve never found anything that even comes close. In fact, I’ve made the 3-1/2 hour journey numerous times just to enjoy a Roma Fiesta sandwich…….my mouth is watering just thinking about it! Best food, best people……hands down! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
