Honestly one of the best Italian restaurants that my wife and I have been to in Miami (I would say Florida but it's not like we tried  them all, YET)..   I am from NY so finding good Italian food outside of Brooklyn or the City is sometimes challenging however Casa Tua did a perfect job!  Tasty food, impeccable service and a awesome wine list!!!   Luca was our waiter and he was awesome! He recommended one or two things and they didn't disappoint!  I had an appetizer salmon and a sea bass for dinner. My only complaint is they give you one piece of bread at a time, I know I know that's suppose to be classy I get it (yes you can easily ask for more).
I went to Casa Tua for my 20th anniversary. Found it funny from the start - because they guide you to the bar while your table is prepared, albeit the place was empty. I saw how they dragged every guest to the bar first . Food was delicious, I had octopus and pasta with veggies, my wife had fried mozzarella with prawn in an eggplant pocket and then lamb chops for her main course. For my anniversary they put rose pedals on the table, but no one actually wished us a happy anniversary????? Listen, the food was okay, servers are nice; they could just be more customer focused and less focused on the workflow that squeezes the greater profit. I will say host was awesome when we asked for directions to a nearby vegan place "Full Bloom" to have dessert. She walked us out and pointed us to the place - which was awesome by the way. They put happy anniversary on our dessert platter, both the waiter and the host there said "Happy Anniversary" to us.
We celebrated my husband's bday there last night. I booked the place as a surprise dinner for him. So we went there with our daughter. Unfortunately, we were surprised and shocked in a different way as we ended up paying $434 for a party of 3. Pros: nice romantic place especially if you are celebrating special occasions such as anniversary. Cons:  very expensive meal. For party of 3, we paid $434. The waitress suggested their specials that were not listed on their menu which included the: (1) linguini pasta with crabs; and (2) grilled seafood so we ordered it.  The  grilled seafood has 2 small to medium sized lobsters and few shrimp pieces together with some vegetables while the pasta is served in small size with sparingly crab meat pieces. The taste was just ok, not really spectacular. We ordered desserts and mojito drinks too for the three of us. When our bill came, we were shocked to see that the seafood costs $180. I believe that the grilled seafood was intentionally not included in the menu so you would not see the price and then the waitress would highly suggest it without even informing the customer about the price. They also automatically charged an 18% service fee ($61 for us).  So if you plan on eating there, make sure you ask the price if it's not written in the menu.
