My first visit to Central Deli Cafe at Mount Maunganui. It was mid-afternoon on a Thursday and Cafe was basically empty. I ordered a Cappuccino via the window. She was pleasant taking my order but another person started making it. She looked serious and although we were 2 ft apart, she did not make any contact or said anything. Evan when it came to topping, she assumed it be chocolate and did not ask for my preference of chocolate or cinnamon. She was very quick making it and it was not as though there was a line up of people waiting. I sat outside to drink it and at best it was lukewarm. It can simply be a matter of basic training to continue frothing milk till it reaches a certain temperature. I hope to be back again and this time I can give it a 5 star review. Hi Meh, sorry to hear you weren’t pleased with your coffee, toppings for a cappuccino are generally stated when ordering, however, whenever there is a mistake we are always more than happy to remake it for you. Hope you give us another go

How have I not been here before?! As a local, I’m lowkey embarrassed This is officially my new favourite spot. The service? 10/10. So friendly, welcoming, and warm. The food cabinet is stacked, and the gluten-free options are unreal Do yourself a favour and check this place out! Price per person: NZ$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We sat out the back where a lovely breeze came through. The food and Chai Latte were delicious. A good variety cabinet food and menu Price per person: NZ$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
