They're closing this store. I am very sad and sorry to know that their last day will be on 1/21/23. It has been one of my most fav milk tea shops. For the remaining balance of gift card can be redeemed per instructions shown in attached photo. Really want to thank the employees and owner who had served me their great drinks in the past few years. My fav one was the the signature yannan milk tea. I love the especially intense flavor of their yannan tea that wakes me up every time when I drank the milk tea. The tapioca were perfectly cooked to the point of being "a must add item". And I will always miss them.. Despite, I have discovered recently within last few months the tapioca occasionally weren't as great as before. I still wish them the best of luck and wellness in their new business venture.

I got the yunnan black milk tea with Pearl. Nothing special. Just some Chinese tea with non sweet boba in it. I normally like my boba drink with a hint of sweetness so i get 25% sweet, but here 25% wasn't sweet at all because the Pearl is not sweet.

I consider myself a tea and boba connoisseur. Or maybe I just know what I like. In terms of boba, the texture and flavor are quintessential to the chew experience. What makes Cha Express unique is that they offer fresh home-made sticky purple rice as an add-in. Also, they have a in-house oatmeal which is so yummy and comforting. My go-to tea is the milk tea. It has a ton of tea flavor, so you know it has gone through the true brew process and I can adjust the sugar level. If you like HK milk tea, having a strong enough black tea to pair well with the milk is a no-brainer. I have also dabbled with the other teas, grapefruit and guava (yum) and matcha (also yum). As important to taste, I really appreciate that all their drinks seem to be derived from natural ingredients, no artificial colors or flavors. Win-win...
