We were a party of five and everyone one of us loves our food. Our waitress Deannie was the sweetest and most attentive. The owner came over to speak with us and was so fun. If we are ever in the area again this will be a must stop. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I kissed a frog and found my prince!  As if that wasn't exciting enough, that adventure was followed by one almost as delicious!  My prince and I found Chef Roy's Frog City Cafe ... the epitome of casual fine dining!  Everything on the menu looked scrumptious, and neither of us was disappointed in our selections. First, we sampled the fried oysters topped with pepper jelly (sautéed onions in the middle). For his entree, Carl got the Crab White Lake (fried eggplant topped with a crab cake & covered with crab meat & crawfish boutte sauce). Mine is a tuna steak salad; the tuna was grilled perfectly - medium rare - and the dressing was a house-made fig balsamic vinegarette, which was originally created for their duck breast salad. Dessert is peach bread pudding with just a hint of nutmeg. YUMMY STUFF!!! Our server, Angela, was attentive and friendly and the owner, Robert, came by to chat with us twice. Turns out, Roy - the original owner - passed away from Alheizmers several years ago but I believe he would be proud of the legacy he left behind. If you find yourself in this part if Louisiana, treat yourself to this treasure. You can thank me later!
