Edited: So i gave this place yet another try and I just can't get past how bad it looks and how bland it tastes. The cheese tasted like NOTHING. It was supposed to be extra pepperoni but they layered it underneath the cheese, not on top of the pizza so it was cold and totally uncooked and tasted a lot like very cheap deli meat. Disappointing.
Ok if I'm desperate but...this is the best Chemainus could do?! What a shame. Pretty hit or miss, you are better off buying a delissio or less than half the price.
Mediocre pizza with terrible service
First visit, called to order takeout, was told 40 minutes. Got there and someone had written a note on my order that I would be there at 7:30, so pizzas were not ready. They made them right away and gave me a discount for my trouble. I can live with that.
Second visit last Friday. Called for takeout, was told 20 minutes. Got there and the pizzas were just being cut. Perfect, hot, fresh pizza. Then they told me that the owner had taken the only credit card machine out on a delivery, so I couldn't pay for my pizzas. Too bad if the kids are crying in the car, but you'll have to wait while your pizzas cool until the owner gets back. Sorry, we can't call her, 'cause the only way to reach her is by Facebook messages. The owner finally rolls in, offers only a very sincere "sorry, I had a delivery". Not good enough. Will be ordering from Roberts St. from now on.
