The menu of Chinese cuisine under the direction of the talented chef is wonderful at this place. Serving good sweet & sour chicken, egg rolls and crab rangoon is the hallmark of this restaurant. Chen's Gourmet Chinese Restaurant is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. You will pay low prices for dishes. There is a pretty atmosphere and cute decor at this place. Based on the guests' feedback on Google, this spot deserved 4.7.

I really wanted take out one night, and I had read really good reviews for Chen's so I figured I'd give it a try. To start, the person who brought us our food was extremely nice. He was very kind and thanked us for our business several times. I ordered the Crab Rangoon, Shrimp and Broccoli, and an order of the Spring Rolls. To start, the Spring Rolls were probably the best thing out of everything I ordered, but nothing special. The Crab Rangoon was SO SWEET. Like it tasted almost like dessert icing inside of the deep fried shell. I took a couple bites to try and figure out what it actually was and then couldn't eat anymore because of how sweet it was. Finally, the Shrimp and Broccoli was disappointing. The sauce it was in was so watery that it was unappetizing to eat. This is something I get all of the time when I get take-out, but I've never had it where it was so runny. Usually there's more of a thickness to the sauce it's in. It just wasn't what I had expected. I felt like it was a waste for the money I had spent on dinner that night which was disappointing. Overall, I feel like this was maybe an off night considering the rest of the reviews. I'd like to try a few other places first thought before we come back.
