As an American tourist in Arkhangelsk, I very much enjoyed my two visits to Chester Pub. The bar staff speak some English and, more importantly, are very friendly and welcoming to English speaking customers. Both nights I visited, there were also friendly young Russian customers around the bar eager to speak English. The pan fried cod was very good. I recommend this place. The staff and customers are so nice. Just be careful they don’t give you too many free shots of tincture or jagermeister and lemon, or you won’t be able to make it to Arkhangelsk’s excellent museums the next morning. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Pretty loud bar. Not a relaxing atmosphere. Burger was like at mcdonalds and first beers we got were not cold. Seafood was decent.
