Irish food is good here. To order perfectly cooked shepherd's pie, bacon and steaks is a really nice idea. Here you will be offered good French toasts, bread pudding and ice cream. It's nice to try delicious irish beer, scotch or wine. This place is famous for great lemonade, coffee or chocolate milk.

It's easy to find this restaurant due to the great location. If you look through the guests' comments, the staff is cute at Chief O'Neill's Pub & Restaurant. Prompt service is something guests appreciate here. Prices at this place deserve attention because they're attractive. You will definitely like the charming atmosphere and divine decor. The rating of this spot on Zomato is 4.1.

Wow I just had the most tasteless corned beef sandwich I have experienced in a LONG time. Tasteless and dry.  I mean, I know corned beef is not real Irish food, but at least make an attempt.  Thursday 12/26 around 6 PM. I even asked for more mustard to at least make it palatable enough to swallow but no.  In an effort to be a fine restaurant they only serve condiments in little cups.  And the mustard is that stone ground type mustard, so no help there.  My GF had the grilled salmon sandwich which was goo -- tasteful and juicy.  The exact polar opposite of my corned beef.  Chief O'Neills is a fine Irish pub but, based on the food, its bit hit or miss.
This is an Irish themed bar / restaurant that is way better than most. We were most recently there over the holidays  and the decorations were so festive. I had the pot roast, which was one of the best I've had. The portion was large so I took half home. I have been there in the summer when the outside area is open and it is really nice too. Hubby had a sandwich and really enjoyed it. The drinks were good and the server did a great job of taking care of us.
There are better Irish pubs in Chicago where you dont have to wait 20 minutes for drinks and over an hour for food.
