When I wandered by I was greeted by a woman sweeping the floor at Chocolate Vitale who happened to be the owner.
I was impressed that, since I was just walking by that I would get a greeting. I decided to go in and see what they were all about. I love chocolate (Dark Chocolate), so I figured I could find something I liked.
I had the Bolivian 63% cocoa hot chocolate drink ($4.00). This was the darkest of the four hot cocoa drink options. It was really excellent, very rich, topped with whipped cream and a chocolate nib.
I also had a couple of chocolate hazelnut cookies (2 for $1.00). They were a good accompaniment to the hot chocolate.
I also purchased some chocolate nibs for making my own drinks at home. They also have house made specialty tea blends and Veltons coffee and assorted varieties of chocolate bars. You can also order their drinking chocolates online.
I will return to Chocolat Vitale.
