We came to Chris McD’s for our anniversary dinner. It was our first time, and it was a great experience. We were there on a Thursday evening about 5:30. We were able to be seated immediately and had a great server, Alex. He confirmed our desire to get the crab dip as an appetizer. Excellent suggestion. For the main course, I had the crab cakes. There were 4 of them. They were quite small - a little more than a bite size each - but it was advertised as being on the “small plates”. For $16 was hoping for a bit more.

If we want a special meal that is worth every penny we go to ChrisMcD's. I have never had any thing but the best there. Every dish is first class. Their staff is polite thoughtful and aim to please. We went there on our 40th Anniversary. Amazing service and food. I'd forgotten my wallet. thank you

****After reading the emotion-filled response from the restaurant manager, I feel that my words were insensitive to the financial struggles of a good restaurant during COVID. For this I want to apologize to the manager, and I am rewriting my review with less emotion and more understanding.**** Our food was outstanding! The service of the wait staff was a little under average and not what we are used to at Chris McD's. We didn't like trying to look at the menu on our phone (please just print menus), and I wish our waitress had handled the 1 hour and 15 min limit with more tact. Prices have NOT increased, but a 25% service charge/tip appeared on our check. I disagree with this concept. Please be more transparent with the 5-10% automatic upcharge (very small print on menu, I didn't see it) or raise menu prices by that amount. I am just not seeing this practice from other businesses and I feel that it is sneaky. That's my honest and more constructive feedback.
