At this confectionary restaurant, order perfectly cooked sandwiches. Tasty vanilla ice cream, coffee ice cream and waffles are the best dishes. If you want to try some delicious iced coffee, coffee with cream or milkshakes, churn is a decent choice for you.

My husband and I stopped in here with our pups after a hike at North Park. I was at this location once before and though it has moved into a different plaza, the ice cream was just as good! It is clear that the ice cream is fresh and is often rotated in the cases so it remains that way for every customer coming through the door. They had a lot of seasonal flavors (a variety of peppermint and a few remaining pumpkin) during the time we were there. The employee graciously scooped some vanilla ice cream into a dish and placed a dog treat on top so our pups could enjoy it as well! The price is a little higher but it is definitely worth it! Make sure you check this ice cream shop out!

Hands down some the best ice cream in Pittsburgh! The texture of the ice cream and the immense amount of flavor options is what keeps me coming back. The texture is almost a gelato-y/velvety consistency that is unmatched at other ice cream shops. Their flavors are incredible as well, be sure to check out their Facebook page before venturing over as they post their current flavors on there. If you see something on the Facebook page and not in the display case, be sure to ask them - they usually have extra flavors in the back! I know they offer other things like Arctic Swirls, mix ins, etc (not sure if they have sundaes or not), but I've been drawn to just a single or double scoop of ice cream with nothing else, since it's that good! I've not tried their coffee or baked goods yet, despite how delicious they all look. They just relocated to across the street at the strip mall (next to Emiliano's) and the new space is much larger! Only 2 minor notes - 1) Maybe include a board of all the flavors that are available that day, rather than only on Facebook, and 2) There's a lot of information on the menu chalkboards, so at times I'd imagine it gets a little overwhelming to look for specifics on there.
