Outstanding albeit pricey tasting menu. Definitely a great experience, loved every part of it. But don’t fill up with the bread they keep bringing, otherwise you’ll struggle with the last dishes!
Expensive, with very attentive service and wonderful food and wine
What a lovely celebration of all produce local to the region (including the paired wines). So fantastic to see a restaurant celebrate the uniqueness of their area (and yet also the diversity!). The menu is not fully shared with you, rather they provide key foods that will be used based on what is in season - which I think is fun to see how those foods will be integrated into your meal. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and although I was dining alone I certainly never felt that way. I was also trying to practice my Spanish wherever I could on this trip (which is hard in Barcelona where everyone speaks English to you!) and the staff here were lovely enough to do the whole menu and explanation in slow Spanish for me and translate words when I got stuck! What a delight! If you like Pedro Ximinez or sherry/ports in general I can highly recommend the “sherry flight” they do as a post dessert indulgence. The age of the sherries (and the fact they are all from the same winery) are something not easily recreated. Overall a lovely evening and one I can highly recommend.
