Consistently great.

The 2 stars are for the tea cocktails and the Rishi tea, the rest deserves one star. They couldn’t find our reservation for the tipsy tea service, despite putting down a $50 deposit and having a confirmation number. Everything on the tiered serving tray seemed to have been brought in frozen from elsewhere, and everything was either too sweet or tough/stale in texture. The Christmas themed decor was the sort of stuff I often see at the Target dollar spot, which didn’t help the cheaper feel of the experience. The “tipsy tea” service seems to have been changed to no longer include the tea and cocktails which were now a la carte. Lastly, as we were on our way out with coats on we were stopped since our server had incorrectly charged us and they had to bill us again. The whole experience felt messily put together and overpriced, I wouldn’t even call it a tea service since both the teas and tea cocktails are not included. Went to Private Affairs at The Gwen for their Tipsy Tea, and it was a vibe. The tea tower was stacked with sweet and savory bites, and the botanical cocktails were on point. Dropped about $75 per person, and it was worth it for the experience. The space is cozy yet chic, perfect for a weekend hangout. Definitely a unique spot in the city.
