Decided to treat my family and also celebrate my youngest daughters graduation and looked hard for something grown up . City Social is beyond excellent . The food was really next level and fully worthy of its Michelin star , it’s simply very very very good beautifully presented and full of flavour not in any way pretentious I had the mushroom and beef tatar to start and it was sublime . Also I have to mention the service which was really excellent , everyone was welcoming and attentive and knowledgable on wine food , I must mention a young man called John who waited on us and really nothing was too much trouble , skilled in understanding exactly 5he level of conviviality we needed and I’m willing to bet he reads his guests well in this respect , he was a joy . The setting is pretty amazing up on the 24 floor of what was the Nat west tower , once the tallest building in London . This is not a budget restaurant but it is worth the money spent and more we loved it and will return
