Came for a much anticipated return visit only to find it closed despite every social media site saying you were open - and no sign at the restaurant to explain either. Very disappointed.

I was going to be in Bournemouth for the night and the reviews for the Cliff Top Restaurant were good so I booked a table. We arrived, was sat down at our table and was told when we were handed the menus that none of the fish dishes were available and even some of the other meat dishes were unavailable too. No sea bass, no mussels, no salmon, no lamb; pretty much all they did have were burgers or steak. Hugely disappointed; so much so that we left. I understand that some restaurants may, on occasion, run out of certain things but this was on another level and it was only 7:30PM which makes it even more unacceptable. I would like to have been told this earlier in the afternoon so I could change my plans or even before they sat us down at the table.
