Great staff and lovely coffee
Good coffee
Asian fusion strikes again but this time with an Italian twist. If you're looking for a real crowd pleaser then look no further than Coffee Trad3rs in Castle Hill.

I tried the Yakitori Chicken ($15.90), Chilli Prawn Linguine ($19.50), Pulled Pork San Choy Bow ($17.50) and the Prawn, Berry, Melon and Fetta Salad ($19.50). For drinks, I had the Home Brewed Peach Iced Tea ($6) and the Orange Juice ($3.50).

The Yakitori Chicken was an absolute winner. I loved the char on the skewers and the mayonnaise is infused with yuzu which gives it a beautiful citrus flavour. Really well thought out dish and a great starter.

Watch out for the heat in the Chilli Prawn Linguine! I generally don't handle spice well so I struggled a little with this one. In saying that, I actually thought this was the best dish of the day. Prawns were well cooked and all the ingredients really complemented each other.

If you know anything about me, I discovered the gift that was pulled pork a while back and have been obsessed ever since. I was understandably very excited to try the Pulled Pork San Choy Bow. I loved the hoisin sauce over top of the pulled pork and the freshness from the crisp iceberg lettuce. My only criticism would be that there was a lot of juice/liquid dripping out of the cups which I poured out before chowing down.

The salad looked beautiful in its bowl with thin slices of watermelon and grilled prawn adorning the top. Whilst the salad was light and refreshing, there wasn't much depth of flavour. I felt like it was more of a palate cleanser than a meal in itself. A nice balsamic glaze or vinaigrette would have really lifted this dish.

Drinks were lovely accompaniments to the meal. The Peach Iced Tea had a subtle peach flavour and came in quite a tall glass which I appreciated. The orange juice was a little bitter for my liking but my friend enjoyed it.

Overall, I really enjoyed the food and drinks at Coffee Trad3rs. Staff were really friendly and accommodating, loved the use of real flowers as decor, and service was really quick. I look forward to returning to try more of the lunch menu and the breakfast items.

I'd like to extend my thanks to James from the Coffee Trad3rs for the invitation.
