Came to the colonial diner on sunday morning. it was very crowded but we were seated within a few minutes. staff was very nice. Our server Ashley was great! she brought our drinks quickly and gave us a minute to look over the menu. Despite the crowd she continued to check on us to make sure every thing was ok. the food came out quick despite the crowd. the pancakes are excellent. best i've had at a diner. where other diners seem to be shrinking the size of the order but keeping the price the same, the colonial breaks that rule. the pancakes were the size of the plate! the eggs were cooked to order and were delicious. the bacon was crispy just as we requested. Ashley continued to keep an eye on our table refilling drinks when she saw we were running low. Really great service. Food, service and atmosphere were terrific beginning to end.
