First time for brunch. I will say, there is some serious cooking and great food going on there. The Veggie Omelette was possibly the best I have ever tasted with the side of seasoned potatoes....amazing! My son had the Breakfast burger and said it was great as well. Highly recommend it, but just wish it were a little more room inside. A great daytime neighborhood hang... First off, I'm a huge fan of breakfast/lunch hangouts. I have my spots around this city and that, depending upon where business takes me. I could easily add Comfort & Floyd into the rotation. Let's talk about it for a few, Yelp fam. There is a nice range of selections on the menu. If you only eat plants and such, options abound. I, however, am so very comfortable with my position at the top of the food chain. Real bacon, sausage, milk and other things I require are available in all their glory. And the real trick of it is that C & F seems to have both of those culinary/ethical options living together in harmony. Don't ask me how, but they've managed it. Now, the space is small, but cool. Because of its size, one can't help but interacting with the folks there. That leads me to mention that the staff is very pleasant. They are friendly, but professional. Again, a nice balance to strike. Lastly, the price point is around "I could eat here everyday, and not really notice". I hope they are making $, because I'd like to continue to see them in the neighborhood. Maybe I'll catch you there...peace.
