This was a lovely stay! Very nice updated rooms, good amenities and a nice TV & couch in the room. Unfortunately the courseview room was a let down, with a big tree blocking all of the course view itself. I personally wouldn't pay extra for a view room if I knew the view would be obstructed. It was also unfortunate that the restaurant wasn't open, happy hour could have been some cocktails, and the pool closed a bit early. Other than these few things, the location was great, the staff were nice and the room itself was quite cozy to stay in. I'd recommend a game of golf if you're staying here too! Clare Country Club exceeded all expectations! From the immaculately clean rooms to the exceptionally friendly staff, every aspect of our stay was top-notch. Despite our mishap of losing tennis balls, the staff remained incredibly accommodating and understanding and said not to worry about it. The rooms felt brand new and boasted 5-star quality, while the pool was pristine and inviting. And let's not forget the restaurant – the food was absolutely amazing. A truly fantastic experience from start to finish! Once again the staff are so nice I felt so comfortable being there and really felt like we had a luxury stay (I was hesitant to book as I read the low star reviews before booking but after our weekend I truly believe those people are just Karen’s who expect the world - I’m very high maintenance and I didn’t have 1 bad thing to say about this place) Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value, High-tech
