I went to Coromandel for the first time in many years yesterday, and wow — it was even better than I remembered. I didn’t realize they had changed locations, but the food is still absolutely phenomenal. The owner was incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable, which made the whole experience feel really welcoming. We’re currently fasting after a death in the family, so we were limited to the vegetarian menu, but you would never know anything was “missing.” Every dish was packed with flavor and felt just as satisfying as any meat dish. We were honestly blown away by how delicious everything was. The vegetarian options were outstanding, and every bite reminded me why I loved this place so much years ago. I had the pleasure of dining at Coromandel Cuisine of India in Darien and it was an unforgettable experience. The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding, especially the Lasuni Gobi - it was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. I also enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Garlic Naan, which were both flavorful and delicious. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Indian cuisine. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!
