Seeing Queen Street requires time and efforts, so if you feel hungry afterwards, visit this restaurant for a tasty meal. Come here and try nicely cooked fish & chips, barramundi and calamari. Steve Costi's Fish Market with takeout dishes is suitable for those visitors who like to have lunch on the go. The atmosphere of this place is homey. But this place is not highly appreciated by Google users who assigned it a below average rating.

I ordered take away lunch here this week. My usual battered fish and chips. They had Aussie barramundi, chips and salad for $18. The fish was fresh, the batter was light and crispy, fresh salad and crunchy chips. Usual request for chicken salt added. Sadly the fish missed this but most places double check when I ask for that. No marks lost. The staff were polite and helpful. Service was quick. I’ll definitely come back for another fix.

Costis is a woollahra treasure Fish is always fresh and top quality Ruby is a great manager —always ready with good advice Bip is a fabulous cook We order whole sides for family dinners - beautifully presented and perfectly cooked And individual portions are regular part of our weeks diet Thank you Costis and all the staff Ruth
