Recommend. Very much enjoyed the experience. Service was just a touch "iffy" as our waiter didn't tell us about the specials but told the next table about them after we ordered...must have just slipped his mind. We'd go back. Dined with another couple last night. They formerly lived in Naples and one of their favorite places was Cote D'Azur. Of course, they wanted to eat here again. We had read about the new ownership and all 4 of us wanted to check it out. We were not disappointed. The other couple split the Dover Sole entree, which they enjoyed. Even split, it was a nice portion for each. My hubby had the veal tenderloin. He said the flavor was great, both the veal and the mushroom combo. (I tasted the morels... they were wonderful!) He said, though, that it was a 4 star for him as he expected the veal to be much more tender. I had the Loup De Mer Monegasque. (Only pic I could take without being obtrusive). It was a 5 star meal for me! The fish (Mediterranean Sea Bass/Branzino) was perfectly cooked. But the compote & sauce that topped it was, literally, one of the most delicious I've ever tasted. I'm Italian, and this topping was reminiscent of a caponata, minus the eggplant & celery. But the addition of the sweet raisins, sauteed along with the nicoise olives, baby tomatoes, capers, shallots, basil and even bay leaves in the Sauvignon Blanc sauce, made it extraordinary. I would say it's my second favorite fish meal ever! Only behind the Low Country Crispy Flounder with Apricot Sauce at Anson's in Charleston. Would like to see a more intimate setting in the decor/lighting, which could be updated a bit. Kind of crowded when sitting in the middle section. However, it certainly didn't overshadow my wonderful meal. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
