Country kitchen is a place we have been to for many years, the set up is simple, good food at a good price, in a splendid location in the trough of Bowland (I should add that the description on the official Google site says it is a chain with American food, which is incorrect!), the food is simple and wholesome, and good size portions, a good range of English food, plus varying specials, including Tim's famous bungo soup (having what is available at the time bunged in!), and they welcome cyclists, even providing locks, an all round good experience, and one can carry on after to do the rest of the trough!
