This is a small family owned seafood restaurant with 3 tables for eating there. We had a half dozen steamed crabs, 1 crab cake (never got a piece of shell) and 11 fried shrimp. Almost the entire time we were there cracking crabs there was someone else seated and eating but most business was carry-out. Most food is fried but there was a selection of other forms of preparation. Seafood included blue crab cakes, steamed crabs, Alaskan crabs, Louisiana crayfish, and a variety of fish (catfish, trout, talapia, etc). Everything was cooked fresh. When there were few customers the owner chatted with us.. very friendly and personable. Food was brought to our table since we were eating-in. One take out order was a full bushel of steamed crabs in a genuine bushel basket!!! Everything tasted great! There is a bathroom on site for any post-eating cleanup. Parking was ample but being on a corner can be a challenge but there is a LOT of room behind the place. When driving it is easy to miss so slow down when close. Prices were good. They take credit cards. This is an awesome little family business worth repeated visits. My wife and I are from Alabama, the food was simply amazing, the customer service by Lee the owner and Pete the Son was top notch. Friendly environment. If we are in Baltimore again, we will definitely visit them again. Crack and juicy is a gem in Glen Burnie. I went all out of my first order and went for the tray. They don't do all the fancy different types of sauces but it's more of a boil with traditional Cajun vibes. The spice levels are just right but I could go for the extra spicy next time. All the seafood was purged properly with no grittiness in any of the seafood. There is plenty of seasoning in the boil but I went ahead and added a bit more butter after getting home. Get some rice, put some of the broth on the rice, top with some seafood. You basically have a mini gumbo.
