This New American restaurant offers exceptional food, soothing atmosphere and great staff.
Chef Colicchio offers an ordinary menu that showcases what fantastic execution can do. We had two fantastic salads followed by braised short ribs with the Yukon gold puree, green beans, and cipollini onion sides paired with a 2013 Brunello di Monticello (recommended by the wine director), and all were outstanding! There was a lovely amuse bouche before (egg salad) and a pre-dessert of semifreddi with quince. The desserts were also exceptional. I normally do not have an ice cream, but they have a selection of fresh and roasted fruits next tho it. I paired roasted quince with a Mexican vanilla ice cream and it was one of the best things I ever ate! Bravo, Craft!!
I came here with friends on a sunny day to the rooftop patio and it was the perfect place to spend the afternoon! I really enjoyed my spicy frozen margarita which was had some great mango and chili flavors. The pizzas were also delicious and I liked how they served them with scissors so we could easily share.Although this place is kinda hard to find since you enter through an alley, I would definitely recommend coming here because service is great and it's a great spot for low key get-togethers. The sunroof has a movable section so it's easy to bask in the sun or take a break in the shade with some great drinks.
