Sorry, I am not a fan. I expected more.
WATER, SO WATERY. I stopped by for lunch since the reviews were great and I do love creole cooking. Well. The mac n cheese is very good. That's the only positive I can preach. I ordered the oxtails and after spending $16 for my meal, I was pretty pissed off at the result. The counter lady told me that the rice that came with the oxtails was counted as one of the three sides that you could add on. Okay, no problem, but it does say on the menu that you choose three sides. The collard greens were alright, nbd. The oxtails were flavorless, dry, and the only juice came from the sauce poured onto the white rice which was basically water with some flavoring sprinkled in but not really. The rice was clumped into wads like it was scraped off the bottom of whatever. I ended up separating the oxtails from the rice, put it on the collard greens, added some hot sauce, and put the mac n cheese on the side.. then threw the rest out. Not ever going back.
